Job Summary:
The Medical Director Pediatric Hospitalist is a crucial leadership role responsible for overseeing the medical care provided within a pediatric hospitalist program. This role involves ensuring exceptional patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, providing guidance to medical staff, conducting quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Oversee and manage the pediatric hospitalist program, ensuring the delivery of exceptional healthcare services to pediatric patients.

3. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to establish and maintain high standards of patient care.

13. Assist with recruitment, evaluation, and mentoring of new physicians within the program.

Qualifications and Skills:
1. Medical degree (MD or DO) from a recognized medical school.
2. Board certification in Pediatric Hospital Medicine is required.
3. Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
4. Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing as a Pediatric Hospitalist, with proven leadership abilities.
5. Extensive knowledge and expertise in pediatric care, acute care, and hospital medicine.
6. Proficient in utilizing electronic medical record systems and other healthcare technologies.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
